WHAT’S HAPPENING EXACTLY??

There has been alot of speculation recently about
‘Babadag’and whether the Air Games will be cancelled
due to the mountain being closed, however this is not
the case.
The tandem paragliding companies in Oludeniz boycoted
the private management company in charge of the
mountain, who were charging expensive entrance fees
and not looking after the facilities and it has
worked!!
Management of Babadag has been given back to The
National Parks Association and once again flights from
the summit can be enjoyed.
At the moment (07.08.2006) there is no entrance fee
for flights from 1700m and 1960m , however this will
change to a maximum charge of 15ytl (7.5 euro) per
person.

The fantastic Oludeniz Air-Games, which were founded
in 2000, will be taking place as usual. Events will
start on 25th October and will finish on 29th and
during this time entry to Babadag is free for pilots
who have registered for the games.
Registration costs just 60 euro per person.

P.S.
There is no charge for flights from 1000m, and there
will be just a small entrance fee (maximum 15ytl or
7.5 euro) for flights from 1700m and 1960m.
Pilots can choose which take off sites they would
prefer to use as there will be regular transfers to
both.
