Flying accelerated with the RA M (27.04.2007)
Pulling the brakes during flying fully accelerated with the RA M is causing a collapse of the leading edge in the center of the wing (20-50% of the cord).
The RA M is recovering this small frontstall immedeately. The loss of altitude is between 5 and 10 meters!
As a basic principle you should never accelerate and brake (on one or on both sides) at the same time under any glider!
That means the right pilot reaction in accelerated flight (doesn’t matter if in turbulent or in calm air) is:
-first step out of the accelerator
-pull additional brake if needed
To everyone who wants to pull the brake when fully accelerated (despite our recomendation), we’re offering riser with 3cm less speed travel free of costs.
nereikia sparnu prievartauti- apsispresti reikia, ar spaudi speed ar tampai klevantas. Ta pati problema, kuri cia aprasyta tik kaip nova problema galioja ir kitiems sparnams, kitu gamintoju.
kita vertus “is causing a collapse ” reiskia, kad luzis vyksta kiekviena karta- net reklaminiuose sukiuose tokiu uztikrintu teiginiu niekas nevartoja
