Gerbiamas Amatiorai, del kokybes as jus tik graziai pataisiau pateikdamas matavimo duomenis (dar karta paskaitykit mano pirma atsakyma – kur as rasiau kad Amatioras issigalvojo?).

Del medziagos. Kaip ir sakaiu del aerofabrix nesigincysiu neturiu apie ja ziniu.

Del likusios sparno dalies, jus truputi nesuprantat ka as norejau pasakyt. Taigi, Jusu parasparnis pagamintas is SKYTEX 27gramu kvadratiniam metrui.

Apie golvenora as net nekalbejau. Golvenoras biski kitas reikalas.

As ja lyginau su skytex 40 ir 45. Didzioji dauguma parasparniu pasaulyje kaip tik ir gaminama butent is skytex 40 ir skytex 45 (is golvenoro siuo metu gamina tik SOL,Apco ir buvusios SSSR saliu gamintojai, bet apie juos cia nesnekesim).

Lengvesnes medziagos duoda tam tikru privalumu parasparnio svaybems, kaip pvz startas ar atsistatymas po luziu (nes sparnas maziau inertiskas), del to galima ji labiau pastumt i prieki ir pasiekt geresne aerodinamine kokybe. Butent del to ,itariu, skywalk pasirinko skytex 27.

– tai neturetu but kazkieno pagrindinis parasparnis. Jis skirtas naudot retkartciais. Priesingu atveju rekomenduociau Geo.

This light cloth is thin and although perfectly good for the
this glider it will not take as much abuse as the Geo – it should not be
used as someone’s main wing. It is something for more occasional use.
Otherwise I would recommend a Geo.

    Pilnas tekstas:

    Hi Mike,
Thanks for your interest in our new light weight glider. As I think you
probably know we have a “lighter” weight glider in the Geo – which we have
found to be perfect for pilots who just want lighter and less bulky kit. It
has been very successful, but it turned out different than we expected. We
expected it to be a light weight travel glider for people to buy as a second
wing. Instead we have found it has been successful as peoples first wing. It
flies like a normal DHV1-2 and performs well and the material lasts
exceedingly well so long as it is not abused on the ground.
This got us thinking that people are interested in an even lighter wing so
we have developed the UltraLite. Both Dav and I like hiking so we wanted
something really light – hopefully the lightest ever, but not just a small
descent wing. The UltraLite is just nearing completion and we are very
happy. It is light – the UltraLite 23, the one I have been flying (I weigh
about 79kg, no kit) – is 2.85kg and it is has just received DHV1-2
certification – It is the lightest glider to pass DHV tests! Yet it is not
just a small descent wing – we have been happily out climbing other pilots
on the hill, mainly because it turns so fast so you can work scrappy lift.
Pilots will have fun with this wing we think!
The larger size is hopefully going to be certified at the end of this month.
    The 23 is certified 55-90kg the 25 should be 65 to 105kg.
We intend to sell it with a lightweight reversible harness/bag – about
    1.3kg.
The 23 should be on sale early December – we are waiting for a delivery of
the 27gm cloth. This light cloth is thin and although perfectly good for the
this glider it will not take as much abuse as the Geo – it should not be
used as someone’s main wing. It is something for more occasional use.
Otherwise I would recommend a Geo.
Recognising the fact that it is to be a true hike and fly glider, purchased
by those who do this and for pilots who want a fun second wing that packs
small and weighs minimal, we are intending a special pricing regime to
encourage it to be considered as a pilots second wing – around 2200 euros –
even though the cloth is actually a lot more expensive than a normal wing.
Sorry, I’ve written a lot – I think it must be because I really look forward
to seeing how this wing is received as we are already having fun with it and
it is the lightest DHV glider yet still fun to fly. We think everyone should
buy one as a fun second wing, not just for mountain descents (but we don’t
want people to stop buying our more robust wings, otherwise we will not make
    a living;-)!
Oh and I should mention that it is a evolution of the very safe Element that
was also EN certified A category (one of the first to get this safety
rating), but has been fully retested as the UltraLite as we have changed the
weight ranges as well as the materials, of course! Making material weight
changes do often change the characteristics of a wing often improving the
    flying characteristics.
Hope I’ve not bored you and you have chance to check one out properly.
We should be putting something on our web page shortly (new web site coming
soon as well), you’ve got a bit of a sneak preview, but feel free to spread
the word. And hopefully you agree with our thoughts if you demo one.
    Happy flights,
    Mike Cavanagh
    Ozone
